Good news about the flooding in Sandrock Hill - emergency crews pumped out the water over the New Year and cleared the main offending gully. All seems to be well in the short term although I'm sorry that it seemed to take so long.
That was only a temporary fix though and we need to investigate a longer-term solution. First off, I've arranged a site meeting for local councillors and residents to meet the highways officers. It will take place at 11.00 on Friday 13 January and I hope that it will kick-start a project to eliminate the problem.
